What Areas Can Anti Wrinkle Injections Treat?

Anti-Wrinkle injectables are an effective way of softening fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and forehead. They are injected directly into the muscle to allow the muscle to relax so that the the overlying skin releases its wrinkle. Skilled administration of ant-wrinkle injections means natural looking results.
Botox has safely produced noticeable results for millions. With a simple, non-surgical treatment, this prescription medicine temporarily improves moderate to severe frown lines and crow’s feet.

How is the procedure carried out?

It is a very quick and relatively painless procedure which doesn’t require any anaesthesia. The product is injected with tiny needles into specific muscles and begins to take effect around 3 to 7 days.

Botox for Excessive Sweating in Dublin 4

Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis is a debilitating problem causing excessive and unpredictable sweating. Hyperhidrosis can be embarrassing and may interfere with many daily activities.
Botulinum toxin injections are approved for hyperhidrosis affecting the armpits and stop or reduce sweating for up to six months. Local anaesthetic cream is applied to the armpits prior to the procedure to minimise any discomfort.

How Long Does Botox Last?

The effects of anti-wrinkle injections will usually last for between 4 – 6 months. However it does depend on the individual (some people will get 6 months others 3 months). Muscle action will gradually return and you will need to be treated again. The lines usually appear less severe over time because the muscles are being trained to relax.
